Once you have decided to go through with purchasing a puppy from us, it is your responsbility to read the agreement. 

Summer’s Maltese is confident that the dog/puppy has been delivered to you free from health problems. To activate the guarantee the Buyer shall take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 3 days of purchase for a wellness exam.  Otherwise, we consider you take the puppy as-is and the quanrantee is null and void. A health form must be completed and returned (with a copy of the invoice from the wellness exam) to the Seller within 7 days from the date of purchase of the puppy.

If the puppy is taken to Veterinarian and found any life threatening congenital defects, the pet needs to be retured for exchange another puppy within  7 days of diagnosis with all the necessary veterinary report and paperwork, If puppy is not returned within 7 days it is considered to be accepted as-is and guarantee in null and void. Guarantee is void if puppy is resold.

This guarantee will be effective for one full year from the pets date of birth against a life threaterning congenital defects. Hypoglycemia is not covered by this warranty, because we have no control on how the puppy is fed and cared for.

The owenership and responsibility of  yor pets well being, begins when you received your new puppy and the seller in not liable for veterinary bills incurred after the date of purchase.

If buyer chooses to return the pet due to diagnosis *All shipping and delivery charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

In the unfortunate event that euthasasina or death result from a diagnosis as in the above discription condtion the buyer will provide seller with all necessary veterinary statement,, registration papers by the diagnosing veterinarian for the guarantee to be effect a autopsy will have to be prefomed for puppy to be replaced under no circumstanes will  seller make a cash refund on the puppies. If hereditary or congenital defects are indicated, your puppy will be replaced from our own stock as soon as such puppy is available.  Should the Buyer choose to accept a replacement puppy, the Buyer will return the defective puppy.

Seller is not responsible for any stress/environmentally induced disorders such as but not limited to, kennel cough, pneumonia, allergies, parasites, coccidian. giardia, Hypoglycemia, their size, etc., anything that is beyond Seller’s control once puppy leaves sellers premises.  

 

It is strongly advised that the puppy series of shots be administered prior to public exposure.  Buyer understands and agrees to provide proper nutrition, care, exercise and medical attention appropriate for breed and age of puppy.  Buyer assumes all responsibility for medical costs from any virus or illness acquired from exposure to sister’s Stomach virus.

At no time will Seller’s liability exceed the original purchase price of puppy, shipping fees excluded, nor be liable for any consequential damages of any sort including vet fees.  Puppy is sold strictly as a pet only. 

We highly recommend you take the puppy to your veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase for him to verify that the puppy is in excellent health.  This will protect you as the new buyer and us as the seller.  However, we are not responsible for any medical expenses incurred by the Buyer, nor do we pay vet bills, except as specifically provided above, we make no warranty or guarantee as to the health or disposition of your puppy.
